Most clients enjoy smooth skin for three to six weeks depending on individual growth cycles and aftercare. Regular appointments can slow regrowth and improve results; avoid exfoliating immediately and follow our post-wax care directions to extend longevity.

Some mild to moderate discomfort is normal, but our technicians use calming techniques, topical pre-wax measures, and fast strips to reduce pain. Most clients find sessions quick and tolerable, with sensations diminishing after the first few minutes.

Wear loose, comfortable clothing and ensure hair is about quarter-inch long so wax can grip. Avoid heavy creams, tanning, or retinoids before your visit. Arrive with clean, dry skin and discuss any sensitivities with your technician.

Temporary redness, mild irritation, or small bumps may occur but usually subside within 24 to 48 hours. Using soothing creams and avoiding sun exposure or hot baths immediately after reduces risk. Contact us if signs of prolonged irritation or infection appear.

We recommend avoiding shaving between waxes because it removes hair at the surface and disrupts regrowth. If you must, wait until hair is long enough for a proper wax. Regular waxing encourages finer regrowth and more efficient removal over time.

Waxing is generally safe during hormonal fluctuations, but increased sensitivity or stronger regrowth may occur. During pregnancy, many clients wax comfortably after the first trimester; consult your doctor and inform your technician of any concerns or skin conditions beforehand.
