Frequently Asked Questions

Get answers to common questions about Women - Half Arms - Standard.

Appointments typically last 20 to 30 minutes depending on area and hair thickness. The service includes consultation, careful waxing, and soothing aftercare advice to ensure comfort and optimal results for either upper or lower half of the arm.

Waxing can reduce and help prevent some ingrown hairs by removing hair from the root, but it may not eliminate them entirely. Regular exfoliation and professional technique minimize ingrowns; we offer advice and targeted treatments to reduce recurrence.

Avoid heavy creams, self-tanners, or sunburn for 24 to 48 hours before the appointment. Expose clean, dry skin and trim excessively long hairs to about quarter-inch if needed. Arrive with no topical medications unless advised by our technician.

Some discomfort is normal, especially on sensitive skin, but most clients tolerate the quick pulls well. Our technicians use warm wax, expert technique, and calming aftercare to minimize pain. Numbing creams available on request for highly sensitive clients.

Most clients notice regrowth between three and six weeks, depending on individual hair cycle and density. With regular waxing, regrowth tends to be finer and sparser. We can recommend scheduling intervals for the best long-term smoothing results.

Avoid hot baths, heavy exercise, sun exposure and exfoliation for 24 to 48 hours. Apply a soothing lotion or aloe as recommended. Exfoliate gently after 48 hours to prevent ingrown hairs and keep skin smooth; contact us if irritation persists.
