Avoid heavy lotions, exfoliate gently 24-48 hours before, and ensure hair is about 1/4 inch long. Arrive with clean, dry skin. We’ll consult on desired shape and check for any skin concerns prior to sugaring.
Sugaring is generally gentler than waxing; the paste adheres to hair not skin. Discomfort is brief and reduces with regular sessions. We use expert technique and aftercare to minimize irritation and soothe sensitive chest skin post-treatment.
Results vary, but most clients enjoy smoothness for three to six weeks. Hair grows back finer over time; scheduling sessions every 4-8 weeks maintains a consistently groomed upper chest. Individual cycles differ.
Shaving between appointments is not recommended because it cuts hair at the surface, altering regrowth and making sugaring less effective. If you must, wait until you can grow at least 1/4 inch so we can remove hair from the root properly.
Certain conditions like sunburn, open wounds, recent chemical peels, or active skin infections mean we must postpone. Inform us about medications, retinol use, or blood thinners during booking so we can advise suitability and safe timing.
Avoid hot showers, saunas, strenuous exercise and heavy sweating for 24 hours. Apply a fragrance-free moisturizer and avoid exfoliation for 48 hours. Use gentle washes and sunscreen on treated chest when exposed.
