Most clients report mild discomfort similar to quick stinging, but trained Merinaz technicians use calming techniques and gentle paste. Numbing cream is usually unnecessary; let us know about sensitivity and we’ll adapt pressure and timing.
We recommend waiting at least 12 to 24 hours before applying makeup to allow skin to calm and reduce risk of irritation or clogged pores. Use clean, non‑comedogenic products and avoid heavy coverage immediately after treatment.
Arrive with clean, makeup-free skin and avoid exfoliation or retinol products for 48 hours before your appointment. Hair should be at least 1/8 inch long so the sugaring paste can grip the shaft effectively.
This service removes all facial hair except the eyebrow area: forehead, cheeks, upper lip, chin, jawline and neck-facing zones. Brows are intentionally excluded to maintain your custom brow shaping and avoid over-tweezing.
For most clients, maintenance appointments every 4–6 weeks are recommended, though cycles vary. After several sessions hair typically becomes finer and schedules can often be extended. We’ll suggest a personalized plan at your visit.
