Most clients experience smoothness for three to six weeks depending on individual hair growth cycles. With regular sugaring appointments, hair typically becomes finer and regrowth slows, extending time between sessions.

Sugaring is generally less painful than waxing because the paste adheres to hair not skin. Sensations vary, but many clients report milder discomfort and quicker recovery, especially with an experienced practitioner.

Trim is not necessary, but hair should be about 3–5 mm long. Gently exfoliate 24–48 hours before, avoid retinoids or harsh acids for several days, and come with clean, product-free skin for best results.

Sugaring is often tolerated better by sensitive skin because it removes hair with less irritation. We perform a consultation and patch test for clients with rosacea or severe sensitivity to ensure safety and customize care.

Avoid strong actives like retinoids, AHA/BHA acids, and benzoyl peroxide for 24–72 hours. Use gentle moisturizers and sunscreen, and keep the area clean to prevent irritation or ingrown hairs. If concerned, ask your technician for personalized aftercare.

Schedule every 3–6 weeks depending on how quickly your hair grows. After several consistent treatments, many clients extend intervals because hairs grow back finer and sparser; your technician will recommend a personalized plan.
